If you are in Chicago and have kids, a visit to the
Brunk Children's Museum of Immigration at the Swedish American Museum is a must. On a recent rainy day (which could've been any day last month), we ventured out for an afternoon of all things Swedish. The museum focuses on immigrating from your Swedish Stuga, where you can do work on the farm (milk cows, load firewood, etc.), and then getting your passport ready to load onto the boat. Once in America, you make your way to your Uncle's log cabin in Minnesota where you go fishing in streams, ride horses and tend to the garden. The whole thing is very educational and so darn cute with all the Swedish designed wooden toys.
Other Swedish stops to round out your day...
The Swedish Bakery
Coincidently, later that evening, I came home to see that H&M is now carrying a limited selection of the Swedish line Hasbeens. From stugas to shoes....we are loving all things Swedish.

Uh, I must go there!
That sounds like a great place:) Have a lovely day, my dear

Ps: I’m hosting a cute necklace GIVEAWAY today! Hope you’ll join in!
I wish H&M let you order online! There's actually one in Tacoma but kids + mall = disaster. It's like dropping a handful of ping-pong balls and then chasing after them. Ha!
Although considering how cute I think Swedish Hasbeens are maybe it's a good thing I don't have access to them. . .
